WEEKEND BREAKDOWN

MINGUS AT DOVER… NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) driver Mason Mingus is back behind the wheel of the No. 15 Call 811 Before You Dig Chevrolet Silverado at Dover International Speedway this weekend.

RACE RECAP… After not taking a time in round two of qualifying due to a flat left-rear tire, the 20-year-old rolled off 21st for the N.C. Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday, May 15. Mingus was running 15th when he was spun on the backstretch, which ended his night early and ultimately finished 26th.

CALL 811… Common Ground Alliance is the leading association created specifically to work with all industry stakeholders in an effort to prevent damage to underground utility infrastructure and ensure public safety and environmental protection. Along with the new 811-number, CGA and its 1,400 members and sponsors have launched the national “Call Before You Dig” campaign to increase public awareness about the importance of using 811, having utility lines marked before digging and protecting America’s vast underground infrastructure of pipelines, conduits, wires and cables. FROM THE DRIVER… “I’m looking forward to Dover,” said Mingus. “It was one of my favorite tracks that we went to last year. My goal is to come away with a top-10 and gain some momentum for Texas.”
