MINGUS AT DAYTONA…
This weekend Mason Mingus is behind the wheel of the No. 15 Call 811 Before You Dig Chevrolet Silverado at Daytona International Speedway (DIS) to kick off his full-season NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) campaign with Billy Boat Motorsports (BBM).
ON THE PITBOX… Multi-champion in the NCWTS, veteran crew chief Dennis Connor will call the shots on the No. 15 Call 811 Before You Dig Chevy.
CALL 811… Common Ground Alliance is the leading association created specifically to work with all industry stakeholders in an effort to prevent damage to underground utility infrastructure and ensure public safety and environmental protection. Along with the new 811-number, CGA and its 1,400 members and sponsors have launched the national “Call Before You Dig” campaign to increase public awareness about the importance of using 811, having utility lines marked before digging and protecting America’s vast underground infrastructure of pipelines, conduits, wires and cables. FROM THE DRIVER… “I am really looking forward to Daytona and kicking off the 2015 season,” said Mingus. “Dennis and everyone at Billy Boat Motorsports have put in a lot of work this off-season and have built a solid truck for Daytona. My goal for this weekend is to leave with a top-5 and bring momentum into Atlanta and the rest of the season.”
