OH, CANADA… The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) and Billy Boat Motorsports make their way to Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada this weekend for the team’s first road course race and appearance at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (CTMP) in the Chevrolet Silverado 250.
MINGUS AT CANDAIAN TIRE MOTORSPORTS PARK… Mason Mingus will be behind the wheel of the No. 15 Call 811 Before You Dig Chevrolet Silverado for his second start at the track.
FAST FACTS… The 20-year-old finished 14th in the NCWTS event last year at CTMP.
CALL 811… Common Ground Alliance is the leading association created specifically to work with all industry stakeholders in an effort to prevent damage to underground utility infrastructure and ensure public safety and environmental protection. The No. 15 Chevy will also have support from Tennessee 811, a division of the national “Call 811” initiative that encourages do-it-yourselfers, landscapers and contractors to “Call Before You Dig” to avoid unintentionally hitting underground utility lines while working on digging projects. MEET MINGUS… The driver of the No 15 Chevy will be at the NCWTS autograph session at CTMP from 2 – 2:45 pm in the Driver / Crew Chief meeting tent.
FROM THE DRIVER… “I’m looking forward to going back to CTMP,” said Mingus. “I don’t have a lot of road course experience, but I think running that race last year will pay off for me this year. I would like to get a solid finish and carry some momentum into Chicago.”
