WEEKEND BREAKDOWN

MINGUS AT BRISTOL… NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) driver Mason Mingus heads to Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) this week in the No. 15 Call 811 Before You Dig Chevrolet Silverado for the UNOH 200 Presented by ZLOOP.

RACE RECAP… Mingus and his No. 15 Call 811 Before You Dig Chevy qualified 22nd in last week’s Careers for Veterans 200 at Michigan International Speedway. Two separate times the 20-year-old was involved in unavoidable crashes, which ultimately ended his day early. Billy Boat Motorsports is looking forward to ending their string of bad luck this weekend at BMS.

HEADING HOME… The Brentwood, Tennessee native will race for the second time in the NCWTS at his hometown track BMS.

CALL 811… Common Ground Alliance is the leading association created specifically to work with all industry stakeholders in an effort to prevent damage to underground utility infrastructure and ensure public safety and environmental protection. The No. 15 Chevy will also have support from Tennessee 811, a division of the national “Call 811” initiative that encourages do-it-yourselfers, landscapers and contractors to “Call Before You Dig” to avoid unintentionally hitting underground utility lines while working on digging projects. FROM THE DRIVER… “Bristol is my favorite track on the schedule, so I have been looking forward to this race since February,” said Mingus. “We’ve had some bad luck over the past few weeks, but I really feel we can improve this weekend as this style of racing has suited me well in the past. I hope to have a solid run for everyone with Tennessee 811 on board.”
