MINGUS AT TEXAS… With three races left in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) 2015 season, Mason Mingus heads to Fort Worth, Texas this weekend in the No. 15 Texas 811 Chevrolet Silverado.
RACE RECAP… Mingus started in the rear of the field last weekend in the Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway after giving up his 19th-place qualifying position due to a radiator change. The Brentwood, Tennessee native battled all 200 laps and crossed the finish-line in 18th-place.
TEXAS FAST FACTS… The 20-year-old has finished 13th in his last two appearances at the 1.5-mile track.
TEXAS 811… Texas 811 joins the No. 15 team as primary sponsor for the WinStar World Casino 350. The statewide call notification center is a member of the national “Call 811” underground damage prevention initiative that encourages do-it-yourselfers, landscapers and contractors to “Call Before You Dig” to avoid unintentionally hitting underground utility lines while working on digging projects. The Texas 811 logo will be on the hood of the No. 15 truck for Friday’s race. Learn more at texas811.org.
FROM THE DRIVER… “Texas is one of my favorite tracks, and I am looking forward to having Texas 811 on board again,” said Mingus. “I felt we had a strong truck there earlier this year, so hopefully we can get a top-10 this weekend.
